Suman reassures her, saying she won’t be sent to jail because Purna helped her by paying for her mother’s operation. Suman makes it clear that Purna can’t use this paper to blackmail her and that she knows how to handle such situations.
Gullu causes a commotion, prompting Suman to warn him that he’ll be thrown out if he doesn’t leave. Purna tries to deflect, but Suman insists she’ll repay her debt with interest and returns the shagun. Neighbors inquire about the commotion, and Suman dismisses it as nothing.
Later, Kritika confronts Teerth, questioning how he can consider sending her to jail when they are about to marry. She argues that being jailed would bring shame to their family, and Teerth responds that she must face consequences for her actions. He explains that if Kritika had stayed and assisted Suman, the case could have been handled as a hit-and-run, but her departure complicates matters.
Devika is curious whether Teerth will stand by the truth or not, and Geetanjali suggests that Kritika may deserve punishment. Devika expresses her displeasure. She complains to her family about Teerth. Meanwhile, Rishi is seen beating Gullu, which prompts Suman to slap Rishi for causing a scene. Gullu threatens them, and Teerth responds assertively.
