Suman notices a stranger collapsed on the road, with his daughter pleading for help. She quickly stops her truck and rushes over to assist. The daughter explains that her father fainted unexpectedly. Together with Rishi, Suman tries to help the man, but as a truck passes by, the stranger suddenly wakes up and leaves. Suman finds his behavior odd, especially since he doesn’t appear injured. Rishi reminds her that they’re running late for the engagement.
Meanwhile, Geethanjali asks the priest to check the horoscope for the engagement. Devika dismisses the need for it, insisting that Chandrakant believes in hard work over fate, and the priest agrees. He advises them to complete the engagement within the auspicious time he’s specified. Devika, secretly wanting to check the horoscope, resolves to take control of the family once her sister marries Teerth.
Later, Teerth prepares for his engagement but grows anxious, recalling his mother’s words. He starts to sweat when Rishi calls him, apologizing for being late. Noticing Teerth’s nerves, Rishi asks if he’s worried about the engagement, to which Teerth nods. Rishi suggests that nerves often indicate a wrong decision and urges him to reconsider marrying Krtika. Teerth insists he is making the right choice, recalling his sister’s belief that God will guide them.
Meanwhile, Malini informs Suman that she’s on her way but mentions that their truck’s tire was punctured. This raises Suman’s suspicions about the location of the incident. Upon checking, she realizes that their food is missing from the truck. Rishi calls Teerth to update him on the situation. The priest asks Devika to fetch Teerth, but Akhil discovers that he’s missing from his room. Chandrakant scolds Geethanjali for not raising Teerth properly.
Concerned, Teerth asks Suman what happened. She recounts the details, anger boiling over as she punches her hand against the van. Teerth leaves to get a first aid kit, while Devika learns from a servant that Teerth exited through the back door, leading her to suspect he might have eloped.
Teerth tends to Suman’s injured ring finger, and Rishi reflects on the auspicious time, sensing that something divine is at play. Frustrated, Devika confronts Rishi about his presence instead of at the ceremony. He explains that the food is missing, to which she scoffs, accusing Suman of lying and suggesting she just wanted money. Devika demands that Suman take responsibility and not run away from the situation.
Suman pleads for a chance to prove her innocence, but Devika insults her, saying she ordered food from outside to avoid tarnishing her family’s name. Devika then takes Teerth away, and the priest falsely claims to have found another auspicious time for the engagement, having been bribed by Devika to lie. Suman expresses her concern to Rishi, questioning how the catering service could deliver fresh food items in just 30 minutes, suggesting that something is definitely off.
