Akash confronts Jagriti, accusing her of being a liar as he sees her aiming an arrow at a rabbit. Jagriti silently weeps, unable to kill anything. She worries about how she will pay for Harish’s treatment if she can’t earn any money. Akash, confused, urges Jagriti to eat some fruits and explain what’s going on. She reluctantly agrees.
Kalikant reprimands Durjan for suggesting that a Chitta girl like Jagriti should earn money in any way other than hunting. Durjan defends Jagriti, stating that she possesses the qualities to be an exceptional hunter and chief. He expresses his desire to mold her into the best Chitta ever, but insists he must first break her spirit, which is why he set her the challenge to earn Rs 100 a day.
After hearing Jagriti’s struggles, Akash is taken aback and tells her not to worry. He offers to give her Rs 100 from his piggy bank, but Jagriti protests, explaining that if Durjan finds out she didn’t earn the money herself, he won’t treat Harish. While eating the fruits, Akash suddenly has an idea. He suggests Jagriti sell the fruits since they are really sweet. Jagriti agrees, relieved that it won’t hurt anyone.
Kalikant tells Durjan that if Jagriti succeeds in his challenge, he will follow through with his plans. Durjan reassures Kalikant that she won’t earn the money and tells him not to worry.
As Akash tries to carry the fruits in his shirt, Jagriti stops him, crafting a container out of leaves instead. When Akash asks who taught her how to make it, she replies that it was her father. During their conversation, Akash inquires why she refers to a rupee as “Rupali.” Jagriti explains and shows him her drawing of a Rs 10 coin. Realizing the misunderstanding, Akash clarifies that “rupee” and “Rupali” are the same, illustrating the difference between Rs 10 and Rs 100 with an example.
Suraj approaches Kalikant, informing him that Akash is missing from the house. Kalikant’s wife adds that Akash has gone into the jungle to release the rabbit. Kalikant orders his men to search for him.
Jagriti teaches Akash how to make the leaf container for the fruits, but she becomes emotional thinking about her father. Later, Akash notices Kalikant’s men searching for him and discreetly leaves to avoid being seen with Jagriti.
Jagriti takes the fruits to sell by the roadside. When Sapna stops her car, gets out, and samples the fruits, Jagriti questions her about eating without paying. Sapna argues, claiming her father is a police officer and that no one charges her for anything. Geeta approaches and asks Sapna why she has exited the car. Sapna complains about Jagriti arguing with her over the fruits, asserting she could easily buy them all. When Sapna spits out a seed, it lands at Geeta’s feet. Jagriti quickly wipes it away, and Geeta affectionately touches Jagriti’s head as if to bless her.
Curious, Geeta asks Jagriti why she’s selling the fruits and if there’s no one at home. Jagriti explains that her father is sick, which is why she’s trying to sell the fruits. She then asks Geeta if she would consider buying them all, to which Geeta agrees.
