Aniruddha is eager to confess his feelings for Jhanak but struggles to find the right words when he asks Arshi to speak with him in his room. However, he fails to articulate his emotions.
Meanwhile, Aditya and Jhanak discuss their upcoming project, which will be filmed in Kolkata. Jhanak agrees to return to Kolkata to complete the project, showing her commitment.
At the Bose house, Mimi and her sister intentionally insult Lalan, who is a guest. When Lalan mentions he only gets to enjoy royal food once or twice a year, Mimi is aware that his family cannot afford such luxuries. They all mock him for his financial situation. Ajanta and Bablu try to intervene, asking Tanuja, Mimi, and Rumi to stop their taunts, but the teasing continues. Unable to tolerate their disrespect any longer, Lalan confronts them, pointing out their lack of manners. His blunt remarks shock everyone, including Ajanta and Bablu, who feel uncomfortable with the situation. They plead with Lalan to eat something, assuring him that they can’t eat either if he doesn’t.
Later, Chhoton and Mrinalini arrive at the Bose house and learn about the hurtful comments made by Mimi and Rumi towards Lalan. Both are infuriated by their behavior and reprimand them for their misconduct. Lalan decides to join them for the meal, and in a bid for revenge, he deliberately serves some dishes onto Mimi’s plate. Mrinalini finds this amusing, which annoys Tanuja, who considers her an outsider. At that moment, Chhoton announces his intention to marry Mrinalini soon, making it clear that she will no longer be regarded as an outsider.
Meanwhile, Shristi and Shubho urge Aniruddha to sign the contract for his office’s proposal to send him abroad. Aniruddha resists, unwilling to be manipulated. Arshi and Shristi lose trust in him, and even Tanuja and Shubho, his parents, side with Arshi, insisting that he sign the papers. Feeling disrespected by those who should support him, Aniruddha feels humiliated. Arshi points out that while Aniruddha cares for Jhanak, he shows no responsibility toward her. She declares that she will leave the house if he doesn’t sign. Ultimately, Aniruddha concedes and signs the papers, handing them to Shubho.
Later, Aniruddha reminisces about the time he spent with Jhanak, feeling heartbroken at the thought of leaving his homeland.
