Jagriti gazes up at the stars, feeling as though she’s in conversation with her mother. She voices her frustrations, telling her mother that Nanda has locked her up for releasing the birds. Jagriti is concerned about Harish while trapped in the cage, worried about how she will earn ₹100.
Bindi attempts to bring food to Jagriti, but Mangala intervenes, insisting that Jagriti needs to learn not to defy Durjan and Nanda. Bindi begs Mangala to let her take the food, but Mangala remains firm, claiming that Jagriti’s troubles stem from not being a Chitta, and if Bindi had raised her properly, they wouldn’t be facing this situation.
Feeling the chill in the air, Jagriti becomes frightened when she spots a snake. Kachori bravely shoos the snake away and brings food for Jagriti. Jagriti expresses her gratitude to Kachori for saving her.
Just then, Kachori’s brother arrives, stopping her from giving food to Jagriti and takes her away. Bindi tries to offer Jagriti a blanket, but Mangala refuses and pulls her away as well.
Kachori’s brother then taunts Jagriti, showing her that they have caught a rabbit, telling her they plan to eat it and that she can’t stop them.
The following day, Jagriti notices the birds nearby. She makes a sound, guiding them into a cage. Apologizing to the birds for trapping them, she realizes that to save them, she must first escape from her own cage. Jagriti promises the birds that she will free them one day, but first, she needs to earn money and put a stop to the Chitta people hunting animals in the jungle.
Seeing all the birds in the cage, the Chitta people declare that Jagriti has completed Nanda’s challenge and urge Nanda to open the cage. Durjan argues that Jagriti should be released since she has fulfilled the task by capturing the birds. Nanda agrees, allowing Jagriti to emerge from the cage. She reassures the birds that she will one day set them free.
Later, Jagriti speaks with her father, Harish, who asks how she managed to escape from the cage. Jagriti replies that she listened to Nanda and successfully captured the birds.
