Rannvijay tells Jaya that they shouldn’t leave for Jhumri Patan. Just then, he receives a call from Vaiju. He asks her why she left the family without informing anyone. Vaiju requests to speak to Vasundhara, apologizing for her abrupt departure, explaining that she had to hurry to Jhumri Patan for an exam. She emphasizes that she wants to focus on her studies and exams. Vasundhara encourages her to do well and suggests she speak with Jaya.
Jaya scolds Vaiju for leaving without notice. Vaiju claims she couldn’t inform anyone because her phone died. Jaya urges Vaiju to talk to Rannvijay, but Vaiju makes excuses and hangs up. Jaya relays that Vaiju’s phone battery was low and she would return later. Rannvijay contemplates that he isn’t eager to talk to Vaiju either. As Vaiju approaches Jhumri Patan, she reflects on her memories. Aaji asks her what she’s doing there, and Vaiju explains that she came to stay with her and complete her 12th standard studies since Jhumri Patan is her exam center.
Aaji questions why Vaiju is alone and where Rannvijay is. Vaiju explains that he has a lot of work and she declined his company. Aaji gives her turmeric and vermilion from the temple, expressing hope that Vaiju and Rannvijay’s relationship will endure. Rannvijay feels guilty for his harsh words toward Jaya. The inspector turns out to be Vaiju’s friend, Milind, who chastises her for feeling pressured by the villagers to marry. Vasundhara questions Rannvijay about why he isn’t allowing Jaya to go to Jhumri Patan.
