Rishi contemplates that God is signaling him about the connection between Teerth and Suman, even though Teerth is engaged to Kritika. He finds himself confused by the situation. Meanwhile, Devina tells Kritika that Suman is showing off in front of Teerth, who seems to support her too much. Kritika urges her to ignore Suman, as she is content being engaged to Teerth. Devina adds that while Suman claims to be happy, she is really getting on her nerves.
Later, Suman returns home and asks her mother for food. Hema inquires about what happened at the function and why Gulshan ended up in jail. Rishi explains that Gulshan’s actions led to his arrest. Hema worries that Gulshan may cause problems for their family once he is released. Rishi reassures her that everything will be fine because he is there. He then notices a wound on Hema’s hand, and she recounts the events that led to it.
Meanwhile, Purna confronts Devika, questioning why she didn’t save her son from jail. Devika complains that he’s a fool who didn’t know how to execute a plan properly. If he had informed her about the laddo, he wouldn’t have ended up in jail. Purna insists that he did it all for her, and if she doesn’t bail him out, he will expose her at the police station.
Devika maintains that nothing will happen to her son. When Gulshan arrives, Devika asserts that those supporting her will be fine while Suman’s troubles are just beginning. She vows to ensure that Suman pays for her actions and is determined to proceed with her sister’s wedding to Teerth without Suman’s presence.
Later, Rishi tells Hema that he won’t let Purna get away with this. Hema advises him to stay focused on Teerth and praises his character, calling him a well-wisher of their family. Rishi contemplates Teerth’s engagement to Kritika. Meanwhile, Teerth inspects his engagement ring, and Gupta comments on its diamond quality, cautioning him not to hurt Kritika or consider leaving her for Suman, threatening to ruin his political career if he does. Teerth dismisses Gupta’s concerns, thinking it’s impossible for him to fall for Suman.
Hema warns Rishi not to inform Suman about what’s happening. Suman senses they are hiding something and questions them. Just then, Gulshan arrives on his bike. Rishi demands to know who got him released from jail, and Suman mentions Devika.
Gulshan threatens Suman, inciting Rishi’s anger, but Suman stops him. Gulshan instructs his goons to surround them, declaring that jail isn’t her house and he won’t be imprisoned again. Suman retorts that she knows he won’t change because he’s not a good person. Gulshan insists she can’t do anything to him, but Suman boldly states that if he tries to hurt her, she’ll send him back to jail.
Gulshan, unfazed, vows to return. He remembers Devika’s orders to ruin Suman’s life, recalling how they had previously stolen food from her. He threatens that Suman will call the police, to which Devika responds that he’ll end up back in jail for that. Purna argues that Devika isn’t their friend and can’t help them. Devika admits she can’t be a friend, but offers to pay Gulshan 50,000 each time to secure his bail, instructing him to bring his goons along.
Gulshan claims to love Suman, but says Devika hates her. Later, Devika cleans her hands after Suman touched her, while Kritika tries to intervene, asserting that she won’t allow Suman to come near them. Gulshan stirs up trouble, and Suman captures the incident on video, streaming it live. Gulshan finds himself helpless as Teerth watches their live broadcast.
