Vaiju and her inspector friend, Milind, are engaged in a conversation. Milind asks her about her forced marriage, questioning how she can accept it. Vaiju lies, claiming her marriage is very happy and that her husband supports her in everything. She adds that he has encouraged her to continue her studies and that she is preparing for her 12th standard examination. Milind expresses his happiness for her.
Meanwhile, Rannvijay informs Vasundhara that he cannot accompany Jaya to Jhumri Patan for two days because he needs to go to Pune for mill work. Rao Saheb comments that he doesn’t recall any clients from Pune. Rannvijay lies again, saying they are new clients. Nagraj presses him for details about the client, but Rannvijay keeps making excuses. Vasundhara insists that he come with Jaya, as she has already planned everything. Jaya adds that he shouldn’t have to compromise, as his client is more important than family. Vasundhara tries to convince him to join them, but Rannvijay struggles to explain that he needs answers from Vaiju. He eventually begs for permission and leaves.
Back at home, Vaiju sits down to study, tears streaming down her face. She had hoped for a fresh start, but her emotions overwhelm her. Rannvijay contemplates his trip to Jhumri Patan, realizing that Vaiju will reject his financial help. After completing her exam, some girls compliment Vaiju on being lucky to have a supportive husband like Rannvijay. Meanwhile, Rannvijay arrives in Jhumri Patan, and Vaiju reflects on how he had suggested she get remarried. As she walks ahead, Rannvijay loses his balance, causing both of them to fall from his bike. He extends his hand to help Vaiju up, but she stands without his assistance. Rannvijay then tells Vaiju that he needs to settle a deal with her for saving him, but she refuses, asserting that his life is priceless.
