Shalu tries to engage Ayush in conversation, but he keeps avoiding her. Determined, Shalu makes him swear on her that he will talk to her. Ayush finally asks what she wants to know. Shalu inquires about his recent behavior, and Ayush responds that he thinks they shouldn’t be close friends. When Shalu questions his reasoning, Ayush insists that if they were true friends, she wouldn’t act superior around him. Shalu, confused, asks when she ever acted that way. Ayush remains firm that they cannot be good friends and walks away. Ansh, who has overheard their exchange, approaches Shalu and apologizes. He advises her to give Ayush some time, as he tends to get upset easily. Shalu retorts that she doesn’t need advice about Ayush, claiming she knows him better, and then leaves.
Later, Ayush is seen dancing with everyone at the Oberoi mansion. The pandit announces that it’s time for the Ganesh immersion, and Ayush, along with Rishi, carries the idol of Ganesh. Ayush invites Lakshmi to help them with the immersion, and she agrees. Together with Rishi, they immerse Ganesh in the tub.
Meanwhile, Neelam meets with a lawyer at home, with Malishka by her side. Neelam insists that she wants only Parvati in the house and not Lakshmi. She asks the lawyer about the chances of obtaining Parvati’s custody. The lawyer explains that Lakshmi hasn’t done anything wrong and has shown herself to be an ideal woman. Neelam interrupts, frustrated, and demands a solution. The lawyer suggests that if Neelam wants Parvati to stay, Lakshmi will also need to remain in the house. Neelam dismisses this and asks the lawyer for another solution.
Kiran visits Malishka and shares that she had a nightmare about Rishi and Lakshmi being together, with Neelam telling Malishka to leave Rishi’s life. Kiran urges Malishka to accept that Rishi and Lakshmi will end up together and encourages her to let him go. Malishka reacts angrily, questioning how Kiran could say such things. Upset, she tells Kiran that she shouldn’t have come and storms off.
Rishi approaches Lakshmi, questioning how she can always do the right thing yet change when it comes to their relationship. Lakshmi accuses Rishi of pretending to care for her just to win Parvati’s favor. When he asks why she thinks that, she reveals that she overheard Neelam instructing him to do whatever it takes to convince her to let them have Parvati. Frustrated and feeling misunderstood, Rishi tries to walk away, but Lakshmi stops him, asking if he can’t handle the truth. Their argument escalates, and they decide to stop talking, both walking away. Parvati and Rohan witness the heated exchange.
In a bid to bring Rishi and Lakshmi closer together, Parvati and Rohan plan to feign illness to elicit their concern. They resort to placing onions in their armpits to create a convincing act. Malishka overhears their scheme.
Karishma notices that Malishka looks disturbed and asks her about it. Malishka shares Parvati’s plan to unite Rishi and Lakshmi, but Karishma dismisses it, saying they are just being mischievous and advises Malishka not to overthink it. Malishka argues with Karishma, and when Kiran arrives, Malishka quickly leaves.
Later, Ayush joins everyone at the dining table, where Lakshmi serves food. However, Rishi states he isn’t hungry and walks away.
