Lavanya instructs Prithvi to step forward for the engagement ceremony. She also asks Neelima to serve breakfast to the guests. Prithvi, clearly distressed, questions Lavanya, asking if she truly expects him to sacrifice his love. Lavanya, however, is determined, and reassures Chirag that she has promised to bring his happiness back, and she intends to keep that promise. Desperate, Prithvi turns to Chirag and his father for help, but Omkar intervenes, accusing Lavanya of being unjust to her son. Lavanya retorts that she is doing what’s best for Prithvi, even if he doesn’t see it.
Meanwhile, Manorama and Sobha are joyfully dancing, while Janvi tells Sobha that she can’t join in just because of Deepika’s phone call.
Prithvi, standing his ground, tells Lavanya that he cannot marry Dimple. Lavanya dismisses his feelings, reminding him that he fell in love with Janvi just by watching her Miss Rajasthan video, and sarcastically suggests he should watch Miss Dubai’s video next. She continues to pressure him to marry Dimple, but Prithvi refuses, adding that his brother made the right decision by marrying Deepika.
In his frustration, Prithvi accuses Lavanya of being a dictator who only cares about rules and conditions. He claims she doesn’t truly love her children and vows to rebel against her just like Chirag did. Omkar and Ashu try to reason with Prithvi, telling him this is no way to talk to his mother. Prithvi, unrelenting, declares that he will marry Janvi regardless of what Lavanya wants. In anger, Lavanya slaps and pushes him. Chirag steps in to calm the situation, but Lavanya pushes him away too, blaming him for everything. Neelima tries to speak up, but Lavanya cuts her off, stating she will never accept Janvi as her daughter-in-law because she blames Janvi’s family for taking her son away.
Lavanya firmly declares to Neelima and Ashu that she has done everything she can for the Mittal family, and maintaining the family’s reputation is her top priority. Although Omkar understands Lavanya’s concern, he refuses to support this decision. Lavanya threatens that if Prithvi doesn’t get engaged to Dimple, she will sacrifice her life. Prithvi, overwhelmed, faints, and everyone urges Chirag to convince his mother. Chirag, torn, tells Lavanya he doesn’t want to see her upset and blames himself for the situation. Lavanya, however, refuses to listen and continues to blackmail Prithvi, determined to get her way.
Prithvi, regaining his composure, promises to talk to his mother. Ashu, meanwhile, confides in Omkar, wondering when peace will finally return to their family. Chirag, unable to bear the injustice, tells Lavanya that he cannot support this plan against Prithvi. Lavanya argues that Prithvi is the one blackmailing her and insists that Janvi will never become part of the Mittal family.
Later, Prithvi asks Chirag what their mother had said, and Chirag, torn between his own beliefs and Lavanya’s pressure, ultimately sides with her. He tells Prithvi that their mother isn’t budging. Lavanya then calls everyone to gather for the engagement. Prithvi, feeling defeated, tells Chirag he had hoped for his support, but realizes Chirag, too, has surrendered to Lavanya’s will.
As tensions rise, Sobha calls Prithvi, but he hands the phone to Deepika to answer. Deepika informs Sobha that Lavanya is proceeding with Prithvi’s engagement to another girl. Furious, Sobha and Manorama curse Deepika for letting this happen. Janvi, determined, prepares to confront Prithvi, while Deepika feels utterly hopeless, especially after seeing Chirag side with Lavanya.
