Krishna leads the people of Gokul to Govardhan Hill for a puja. Meanwhile, Indra Dev vows to demonstrate his power, warning Krishna that if the residents of Gokul refuse to worship him, they will face his wrath today. He asserts that their past experiences of his generosity will be overshadowed by the punishment they will receive if they fail to honor him. Indra fears that Krishna’s influence has extinguished their faith in him, so he aims an arrow at the sky, unleashing heavy winds and thunderstorms. The residents of Gokul watch in disbelief, with one person recalling Indra’s warning.
Indra becomes furious at their defiance. Krishna challenges him, questioning what kind of deity would get upset over being worshiped less. He reminds Indra that the residents of Gokul have long revered him without angering Govardhan Hill, which has always provided them with protection. Krishna decides they must proceed with the worship of Govardhan Hill, believing it will safeguard them. Indra grows increasingly frustrated.
Declaring that this will not happen, Indra aims his arrow again, and Gokul is soon flooded. One resident blames Krishna for provoking Indra and leading to their predicament, causing chaos as people scramble to save themselves. Gopika expresses regret for listening to Krishna and insists they must save their homes and families, leaving in haste.
Meanwhile, Kamsan learns of the flooding and revels in the chaos, thinking he can eliminate both Devraj and Krishna in this disaster. He orders his soldiers to send the best swimmers to Gokul to retrieve Krishna’s corpse, anticipating that both will drown in the flood while he revels in their downfall.
As Gokul residents curse Krishna for the calamity, they demand he take responsibility for their suffering. Indra laughs at their plight, enjoying their misfortune. Gopika, however, reminds everyone of Krishna’s divine nature and his previous miracles, pleading for his help. Krishna walks away, followed by Radha and Balram, while Yashodha expresses concern, urging them not to curse him and to search for Krishna. Nandan reassures them that Krishna will protect them; they just need to have faith.
Krishna confronts Indra, urging him to stop punishing innocent people. Indra retorts that since they failed to worship him, every home will be swept away in the flood. Determined, Krishna declares that he will teach Indra a lesson. He then lifts Govardhan Hill above his head, astonishing the residents of Gokul. Radha informs everyone that Krishna is holding the hill up, and they are awestruck. Krishna encourages them to take refuge beneath the hill, assuring them it will protect them from the floodwaters.
