Megha and the other women prepare to leave, but before they do, Arjun is warned about the consequences of the situation. He is asked to report to the inquiry room and exits. Megha expresses her concern to Arjun, saying she only wanted to protect his job and wonders if she made things worse. Arjun reassures her that he won’t lie and is okay with whatever happens because he has no regrets. He heads inside while Megha prays for everything to turn out well. Suddenly, a glass shatters, prompting Megha to recall Goldie’s words about it being a bad omen.
After some time, Arjun returns to Megha. She anxiously asks about what happened during the inquiry. Arjun informs her that he received a warning and a suspension, which makes her relieved, and she thanks God that he won’t lose his job. She admits she wouldn’t forgive herself if he did. He acknowledges that she saved his job and praises her courage, to which she responds that her strength comes from him. K. P. Talwar then instructs Arjun to meet his wife, but Arjun tells him he has a small task to complete first and takes Megha with him.
Outside the police station, Surendar questions Megha about her whereabouts. She explains that she was at Arjun’s inquiry commission office. Surendar asks if she lied, and Arjun quickly clarifies that Megha managed to save his job without any dishonesty. He suggests they go inside to resolve the issue with Manoj. Surendar insists they will handle the case, reminding Arjun of what his family thinks of Megha, and leads her inside.
The following day, K. P. Talwar tells Arjun that he feels unmotivated to go to work. He reveals that he asked Megha for help, and thanks to her, Arjun’s job is secure. However, he doubts he will receive his promotion. Meanwhile, Megha burns items related to Manoj, stating it was difficult to let go, but now she feels a sense of relief. Surendar hugs her and commends her for her actions.
Arjun’s mother confronts him, insisting that his father is justified in his anger. When Arjun mentions that his father is upset, she blames Megha for ruining everything and questions whether there’s something between him and the so-called abandoned lady. Arjun defends Megha, clarifying that she is not abandoned and insists there is nothing romantic between them.
In the meantime, Megha receives a parcel. Ranjeeta asks what it contains. As Megha opens it, she finds a letter and is shocked to discover a mobile phone featuring an intimate video of herself and Manoj.
