Surendar suggests that Megha should call Arjun to inquire about Navjot. Megha responds that it’s Arjun who needs to explain, and she leaves on her scooter.
Meanwhile, K. P. Talwar questions Arjun about his next steps and how he plans to face the committee. He warns Arjun that admitting to lying in the Georgia court could cost him his job, which would prevent him from seeking justice for other girls. He concludes that they will discuss the matter further at home and departs.
Megha arrives at Arjun’s house and accidentally bumps into his mother, causing her to drop a plate of laddus. Megha quickly apologizes, but Arjun’s mother wants to know how Megha got inside. When Megha states that she wishes to see Arjun, his mother recognizes her and accuses her of being the reason for Arjun’s lies. Megha questions whether his mother has confronted Arjun about it. His mother scolds Megha for involving herself with Arjun given her marriage and asks if her parents know she is there. Megha insists she will leave after speaking to Arjun.
Suddenly, Navjot grabs Megha by the hair, berating her for being there. Arjun’s mother intervenes, demanding that Navjot let Megha go. When Navjot pushes Megha, Arjun steps in to catch her, asking Navjot how she can treat Megha that way. He apologizes to Megha, while Navjot provocatively questions why Arjun hasn’t found another woman. K. P. Talwar tells Navjot to calm down and handle the situation. Megha decides to leave, but Arjun follows her, explaining that Navjot’s behavior stems from the success of people like Manoj, and he couldn’t explain his actions to his family directly.
Megha tells Arjun that they should not meet again. Arjun is taken aback, reminding her that they are friends. Navjot feigns innocence, asking what she did wrong and provocatively challenges Arjun to hit her with a slipper. He tells her to cut the act, but she retorts, scolding him for reprimanding her. She claims that Megha has tarnished Arjun’s image and insists she will do whatever it takes to protect it. K. P. Talwar orders Arjun to go inside. Navjot then informs K. P. Talwar that Arjun gave his locket to Megha, leading him to conclude that only Megha can save Arjun’s job. Arjun reflects on Megha’s words while Megha recalls Navjot’s harsh comments.
