Kayanat pressures Kazi Sahab to begin the wedding rituals, but he firmly refuses to proceed without Ibaadat’s consent. Just then, Ibaadat enters the conversation and makes it clear that she will not allow the marriage to take place. She criticizes Mannat’s lack of decorum and her inability to live a disciplined and humble life. A heated argument ensues between Ibaadat and Mannat as Ibaadat attempts to stop the wedding.

Initially, Mannat fails to see any reason for opposing the marriage, but Ibaadat reminds her that while they may not share the same mother, they have the same father, making it against Islamic law for them to marry the same man. Kazi Sahab confirms this, stating that until Subhan grants a divorce to his ex-wife, the marriage cannot occur. Mannat, anxious at this news, insists that Kazi Sahab proceed with the wedding. In retaliation, Ibaadat slaps Mannat again. Ibaadat is surprised at how much Mannat resembles Ghazal, who had manipulated the entire family to break Dua’s marriage.

Though Ibaadat is Ghazal’s daughter, her demeanor is more akin to Dua’s. In contrast, Mannat, the daughter of Dua Akhtar, lacks any of her mother’s admirable qualities. The comparison to Ghazal infuriates Mannat further, placing her as the outsider in their relationship. Subhan interjects during their argument, insulting Ibaadat for her desperation. Ibaadat refuses to grant her husband a divorce, as he is completely under Mannat’s influence and unable to discern right from wrong. Although Subhan is impatient, Ibaadat reminds him that the divorce process will take at least three months. She boldly challenges that she will expose Mannat’s dark secrets within that time frame, confident in her impending victory. She promises that if she fails, she will leave the house and apologize to everyone.

Kayanat rejects Ibaadat as her daughter-in-law, and Ibaadat vows to no longer tolerate her malicious mother-in-law’s behavior. She also declares that she will hold accountable those who have aided Mannat in her schemes, firmly believing she can open Subhan’s eyes to the truth.

Mannat is distraught that her marriage remains unfulfilled. Consumed by Ibaadat’s threatening words, she feels a surge of anger. The insults she has previously endured weigh heavily on her, and in her distress, she attempts to hurt herself. Suddenly, Subhan enters her room, trying to console her, but calming her proves to be a challenge. Mannat, feeling like she is losing her grip, blames Ibaadat for ruining her life and believes she won’t easily let go of her desires.
