Teerth prevents Suman from falling and mentions that he heard a sound, which he thinks might be an electric short circuit. Suman scolds him to leave her alone, insisting that he shouldn’t disturb her. He wishes her good luck before walking away. Meanwhile, Devika is searching for Reva and learns from a servant that Reva was looking for her phone and had gone to the kitchen.
Suman spots Reva there, but Reva ignores her, stating that she won’t talk to her because her mom warned her that Suman is from a slum area and is bad news. Suman counters that her mom taught her incorrectly; bad people are those who commit wrong deeds. She extends her hand, hoping to be friends, but Reva brushes her off and continues searching for her phone. Suman then notices that the oven is about to explode and tries to stop Reva from getting too close. Reva stubbornly bites Suman’s hand and stays put. Just then, Devika rushes into the kitchen, calling out Reva’s name.
Suman manages to pull Reva away from the oven just as it explodes. Everyone gasps in shock at the blast. Suman hides inside a cupboard with Reva to protect her. Devika embraces her daughter tightly, while Rishi hugs Suman, asking if she’s alright. Devika angrily accuses Suman of putting Reva in danger and lashes out at her for pushing her child into harm’s way. Hema, feeling concerned for Suman’s safety, prays for her.
Reva hugs Suman and insists that she isn’t bad because Suman saved her life. Confused, Devika asks what Reva means. Reva explains that Suman warned her about the electric circuit, but she bit Suman’s hand out of stubbornness. She declares that Suman is a good person and wonders why her mom and Mausi call her bad. She kisses Suman’s hand affectionately.
Devika continues to blame Suman for the explosion, stating that she was cooking Tandoori roti in the oven. She questions Suman’s ability to use it, suggesting she must not have seen one before. Devika holds up a burnt piece of roti, claiming that metal was used in it and scolding Suman for her ignorance about using the oven. Devika insists that she will call the police. Chandrakant, siding with Devika, reprimands Teerth for hiring Suman’s catering service.
Suman explains that she has never used an oven before, acknowledging it was a mistake. Rishi asks her to clarify, and Suman insists she’s serious. She admits she may not have used it but could read the instructions and knew metal shouldn’t go inside the oven. She explains that her family was determined to prevent her from succeeding in this task and hadn’t given her enough space to cook, yet she managed to prepare the Tandoori roti Indori-style using a cooker as proof.
Devika refuses to believe her and accuses Suman of lying. Suman insists she’s only trying to reveal the truth and questions the royal catering team about their use of the oven, but they deny it. Reva chimes in, confirming she saw Suman putting the roti in the oven. Teerth defends Suman and threatens the royal catering team to confess the truth or he will call the police. Devika, frustrated, slaps Suman and threatens to shut down their catering business, ordering everyone to leave.
Kritika urges Devika to call the police, but Devika insists that it will be her going to jail, not them, revealing she placed a coin as evidence. Suman confronts her, demanding to find out the truth and reminding her that she gave her that coin at school.
