Kaveri asks Arman if he thinks she’s not managing the firm well. Arman, feeling overwhelmed, expresses regret about not being able to balance his responsibilities at home and work. He feels he’s failed as an ideal son. While reflecting, he checks the gift Vidya had given him.
Meanwhile, Abhira is busy making preparations for Vidya’s birthday. When Vidya enters the kitchen, Abhira quickly steps aside, letting Ruhi take over. Vidya is pleased to see Ruhi baking her birthday cake and asks her to ensure that no strangers attend the party. Abhira secretly tells Ruhi that Vidya is upset, and that’s why she doesn’t want her to know that she’s the one who actually made the cake.
Manisha instructs the caterer to avoid using walnuts, but Abhira, unknowingly, adds walnuts to the cake. Later, Arman wishes Vidya as she drifts off to sleep. Despite being asleep, Vidya feels Arman’s presence. Back at the party, Abhira continues with the preparations. Arman, hesitant about the celebrations, tries to stop Abhira from going ahead with the party plans, but she persuades him to help her. She remains hopeful that Vidya will offer Arman the first piece of cake. Arman, feeling stressed, warns Abhira not to get her hopes too high, but she is determined to make an effort.
Kaveri also wishes Vidya and asks her what gift she wants. Vidya replies that Kaveri won’t be able to give her what she desires. When Kaveri insists, Vidya simply asks for her love. Kaveri, feeling helpless, turns to Madhav, who remarks that Vidya has already asked for love countless times.
The Poddar family gathers to celebrate Vidya’s birthday. Abhira notices that Vidya is in good spirits. Meanwhile, Manish looks around for Arman and Abhira. When Vidya makes an excuse for their absence, Abhira urges Arman to join the party, but he decides to stay away.
Abhira worries that Vidya won’t celebrate her birthday properly without Arman, but the Poddars proceed with the cake-cutting. Manisha suggests that Vidya invite Arman and Abhira, but Vidya refuses. Later, Arman discovers that Abhira had unknowingly added walnuts to Vidya’s cake, which could cause an allergic reaction. He rushes to stop her from eating it. However, Vidya lashes out at Arman and Abhira, accusing them of ruining her special day.
Manish confronts Vidya about her harsh treatment of Arman and Abhira, but Vidya firmly states that the only person she considers her son is Rohit.
